Dr. Eiman Nabi is a proficient and accomplished board-certified  gastroenterologist. She earned her medical degree from Weill Cornell  Medical College and completed her residency and fellowship at Virginia  Commonwealth University. Dr. Nabi was inducted into the prestigious  Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society as a gastroenterology fellow for  her commitment to the learning of medical students at Virginia  Commonwealth University.

Following her fellowship, she joined  MedStar Washington Hospital Center in Washington D.C. as an attending  gastroenterologist, where she focused on academic medicine and worked  closely with medical students and gastroenterology fellows in training.  In recognition of her exceptional work, Dr. Nabi has been awarded the  "Top Doctor" Award by Washingtonian magazine for four consecutive years  since 2020. She also received the "Gastroenterology Fellows Award" for  Excellence in Teaching Residents and Fellows from MedStar Georgetown  University Hospital.


By joining the team at  Frederick Gastroenterology Associates in 2022, she has been able to  provide exceptional care and consultation to patients at both the Urbana  and Frederick locations. She utilizes progressive technology to provide  a range of treatments, including upper endoscopy with dilation, BRAVO  wireless capsule for pH testing, colonoscopy with endoscopic mucosal  resection, and video capsule endoscopy. Dr. Nabi has a particular  interest in providing relief to patients with painful hemorrhoids  through hemorrhoidal banding, using the latest techniques to ensure  maximum comfort and effectiveness.


Dr. Nabi is fluent in  English, Hindi, and Urdu, making her capable of providing culturally  sensitive care to patients from various backgrounds. She advocates for  open communication with her patients, which allows her to guide them  through their treatment as an active participant in their well-being.  Dr. Nabi is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and  endeavors to swiftly return patients to their daily routines. She lives  in Leesburg, Virginia with her husband and two daughters. When she's not  busy, she loves to explore new cuisines and travel destinations.
